The Nielsen Music Awards are designed to reward those artists whose records work universally on UK radio.

There are four levels of certification:

Neilsen Music Impact Award for records which achieve 5,000 plays on UK radio* in the eight weeks immediately prior to sales release.

Neilsen Music Certified 10,000 Award for records which achieve 10,000 plays on UK radio*

Neilsen Music Certified 20,000 Award for records which achieve 20,000 plays on UK radio*

Neilsen Music Certified 100,000 Award for records which achieve 100,000 plays on UK radio*

*as monitored by Nielsen Music.

Nielsen Music monitors 165 radio stations in the UK, 24 hours hours a day, 7 days per week.

Nielsen Music monitors music broadcast on radio & TV in 20 countries worldwide.

AwardFramers International is the authorised organisation permitted to manufacture awards using the Nielsen Music logo.
